East End Revitalization and Transportation Strategy

Local property owners and investors interested in revitalizing the east end of downtown Dallas asked for ideas to reposition their portfolio and the surrounding area. Networks problems create a series of choke points diminishing access and value. The primary design driver connects Cesar Chavez Boulevard with Pearl Street, which would be redesigned as a highly aestheticized urban boulevard and complete street with opportunity for rapid ride bus lanes, significally improving southeast-northwest movement.
