Cypress Waters Masterplanning: Dallas, TX
On the site of a decommissioned coal power plant, a new neighborhood emerges.
Patrick Kennedy was asked to re-think a masterplan around North Lake in Dallas when there was already early phases of residential and retail under-construction. The most important task was to 1) integrate these phases into a coherent and phase-able plan, 2) get the ‘bones’ right for the street network, and 3) allow for adaptability of the block structure to enable long-term infill and further mixing of uses over time.
